{"id":956,"date":"2025-09-06T19:00:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T17:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/?p=956"},"modified":"2025-11-11T23:06:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T22:06:08","slug":"boussu-bois","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/boussu-bois\/","title":{"rendered":"La gare de Boussu-Bois"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Le 1er octobre 1840 le Chemin de fer de Saint-Ghislain met en service le tron\u00e7on Warquignies \u2013 Dour pour l\u2019acheminement du charbon.<br>Reprise par l\u2019Etat en 1871, la ligne (future ligne 98) a \u00e9t\u00e9 prolong\u00e9e de Dour \u00e0 Qui\u00e9vrain via Elouges et ouverte aux trains de voyageurs le 1er avril 1873.<br>Boussu-Bois a \u00e9t\u00e9 dot\u00e9, entre 1873 et 1874, d\u2019une halte situ\u00e9e au croisement de la route Boussu-Dour. Elle \u00e9tait constitu\u00e9e d\u2019un petit b\u00e2timent fonctionnel, sans \u00e9tage, comprenant un bureau des recettes, une salle d\u2019attente et le block 16 qui commandait le passage \u00e0 niveau. C\u2019\u00e9tait le point de passage des nombreux mineurs venant travailler aux charbonnages \u00ab Vedette \u00bb et \u00ab Saint-Antoine \u00bb.<br>Pour le trafic local des marchandises, la gare de Boussu-Bois disposait d\u2019une voie de transbordement avec le raccordement \u00e0 la ligne vicinale Boussu &#8211; Fayt- le- Franc et d\u2019une voie avec rampe de chargement qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e successivement par les entreprises Delbart et Adh\u00e9mar Lorf\u00e8vre Cantigneaux jusqu\u2019en 1958.<br>Le trafic voyageurs a cess\u00e9 le 13 ao\u00fbt 1961. Quant au trafic marchandises il a perdur\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de l\u2019exploitation des schistes carbonif\u00e8res du terril \u00ab Saint-Antoine \u00bb en 1992.<br>Aujourd\u2019hui la ligne 98 est devenue un Ravel. La maisonnette de garde barri\u00e8re qui a gard\u00e9 son enseigne peinte \u00ab Boussu-Bois \u00bb et quelques barri\u00e8res en b\u00e9ton sont les seuls t\u00e9moins du pass\u00e9
