Ouvert le 1er mai 1901 comme simple halte situ\u00e9e juste apr\u00e8s le pont du canal en direction de Tessenderlo, il \u00e9tait dot\u00e9 d\u2019un quai rudimentaire sans abri. Ce point d\u2019arr\u00eat de la ligne 17, entre Diest et Beringen-Mijnen, a \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9 juste apr\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re guerre mondiale, en 1919, et n\u2019a rouvert que le 15 juin 1931.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le pont sur le canal a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit pendant la seconde guerre mondiale et n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9 qu\u2019en mai 1947. Le trafic des voyageurs a cess\u00e9 ici le 4 mai 1957, celui des marchandises en 1985.
