Ils ont emprunt\u00e9 le train pour rejoindre leurs lieux de travail. Le nombre de voyageurs a\u00a0\u00a0 ainsi augment\u00e9 et le point d\u2019arr\u00eat a, ainsi, \u00e9t\u00e9 maintenu. Il \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9 de deux quais courts et de quelques abris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La premi\u00e8re guerre mondiale a entra\u00een\u00e9 la fermeture temporaire de la ligne; les trains ont recommenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019arr\u00eater \u00e0 Hillegem d\u00e8s 1920. Il faudra ensuite attendre pr\u00e8s d\u2019un si\u00e8cle pour que, en 1991, le service de week-end soit supprim\u00e9. Les quais bas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 modernis\u00e9s en 2015.
