{"id":6339,"date":"2026-01-17T21:56:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T20:56:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/?p=6339"},"modified":"2026-02-16T13:45:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T12:45:26","slug":"herzele","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/herzele\/","title":{"rendered":"La gare de Herzele"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ce point d&rsquo;arr\u00eat, inaugur\u00e9 sous le nom de \u00ab Herzeele \u00bb le 13 d\u00e9cembre 1868, en m\u00eame temps que la ligne 89,  fut tr\u00e8s vite reclass\u00e9 en gare. Le b\u00e2timent en briques, conforme au style de l\u2019\u00c9tat belge, fut construit vers 1880. Il se compose de trois parties: au centre, le corps avec \u00e9tage pour le chef de gare, assorti de deux ailes lat\u00e9rales asym\u00e9triques. La partie la plus longue abritait la salle des guichets et la salle d\u2019attente, ainsi qu\u2019un auvent. De l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 se trouvaient les locaux de service pour la r\u00e9ception des colis. La gare \u00e9tait aussi \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un hangar aux marchandises, d&rsquo;une local des toilettes. En face de la gare, on trouvait un hangar avec deux voies de d\u00e9chargement.<br>Le trafic a \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu \u00e0 plusieurs reprises \u00e0 Herzele pendant la premi\u00e8re guerre mondiale. En 1938, la gare a re\u00e7u son nom actuel, \u00ab Herzele \u00bb. Apr\u00e8s la guerre, le calme est revenu jusqu\u2019aux ann\u00e9es 80: en 1980, le hangar de d\u00e9chargement fut ferm\u00e9 et remplac\u00e9 par le parking de la gare. En 1990, les guichets furent ferm\u00e9s et le b\u00e2timent de la gare vendu. Il existe toujours aujourd\u2019hui en tant que maison priv\u00e9e, magnifiquement conserv\u00e9e dans son \u00e9tat d\u2019origine, m\u00eame l\u2019auvent est encore pr\u00e9sent.
