La gare \u00e9tait situ\u00e9e au pied du\u00a0viaduc de Moresnet\u00a0entre Birken et Plombi\u00e8res sur la 39 et \u00e9tait le point de d\u00e9part de la ligne 39 B vers la zone mini\u00e8re de La Calamine (Kelmis).<br>La gare fut ferm\u00e9e au trafic voyageurs et marchandises le 18 mai 1952.<br><br>Le b\u00e2timent principal de cette gare \u00e9tait de style traditionnel belge. Il fut transform\u00e9 apr\u00e8s sa p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;exploitation.<br>Venant de Henri-Chapelle, deux voies principales entraient \u00e0 Moresnet, dont la gare la gare \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e de deux quais devant le bureau des recettes. Des voies secondaires compl\u00e9taient le site, le long d&rsquo;une cour aux marchandises et son magasin. Deux autres voies, \u00e0 l&rsquo;oppos\u00e9, rejoignaient les voies principales en direction de Plombi\u00e8res. La voie partait vers la droite vers la bifurcation vers La Calamine (L 39B).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Le viaduc de Moresnet.<\/strong> Un viaduc ferroviaire \u00e0 double voie, compos\u00e9 de\u00a022 trav\u00e9es m\u00e9talliques, b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9 et support en pierre pour les piliers. D&rsquo;une longueur de 1100 m et 52 m de haut il enjambe la vall\u00e9e de la Geul.
