Nous sommes sur la ligne 109 entre Cuesmes et Chimay, \u00e0 58,3 kilom\u00e8tres de Mons, entre Solre-Saint-G\u00e9ry et Rance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La gare de Sivry a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte aux voyageurs le 1<sup>er<\/sup> mars 1882. Son b\u00e2timent principal avait \u00e9t\u00e9 construit dans le style architectural du type 1873 de l\u2019Etat belge. Ce b\u00e2timent abritait le Bureau des Recettes (BR), le poste de man\u0153uvres et de la signalisation (block 9), une salle d&rsquo;attente, un magasin, un local archives. L\u2019appartement du chef de gare \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9, au rez-de-chauss\u00e9e, d\u2019une cuisine et d\u2019une salle \u00e0 manger, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage, de trois chambres et d\u2019une mansarde. Il disposait \u00e9galement d\u2019une cour int\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La gare de Sivry pr\u00e9sentait deux voies 1 et 2 avec quai. C\u00f4t\u00e9 Beaumont, on pouvait apercevoir, le long du passage \u00e0 niveau 40, la loge de manoeuvre d\u2019o\u00f9 \u00e9tait g\u00e9r\u00e9e la barri\u00e8re roulante. Cette loge se trouvait dans le prolongement du quai au bois \u00ab\u00a0Nord\u00a0\u00bb. On trouvait \u00e9galement un b\u00e2timent \u00e0 usage divers du service de la voie. Les jardins de la maisonnette et du chef de gare \u00e9taient dans le prolongement. Sur la voie oppos\u00e9e, toujours c\u00f4t\u00e9 Beaumont, se trouvait le raccordement de l&rsquo;entreprise Hannoteau, \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un quai. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 Chimay, on trouvait, apr\u00e8s le b\u00e2timent des recettes (BR), la cour aux marchandises \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;une rampe, d&rsquo;un pont \u00e0 peser et d&rsquo;une voie en cul-de-sac. Une autre voie aboutissait \u00e0 la rampe de chargement de bois \u00ab\u00a0sud\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La gare de Sivry a \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9e aux voyageurs le 30 mai 1964 et aux marchandises en 1970. Apr\u00e8s sa fermeture, le b\u00e2timent principal de la gare a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconverti en Centre de D\u00e9paysement et de Plein Air (C.D.P.A) par la Communaut\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise.
