{"id":1325,"date":"2025-10-04T10:52:20","date_gmt":"2025-10-04T08:52:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/?p=1325"},"modified":"2025-11-11T22:35:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T21:35:22","slug":"chievres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lasagadesgares.be\/wordpress\/chievres\/","title":{"rendered":"La gare de Chi\u00e8vres"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La gare de Chi\u00e8vres \u00e9tait situ\u00e9e sur la ligne 100 Saint-Ghislain \u2013 Ath dont le tron\u00e7on entre la bifurcation de Maffle et la gare de Vaudignies-Neufmaison a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en service le 18 septembre 1879, tandis que la jonction avec Saint-Ghislain ne sera op\u00e9rationnelle que le 8 novembre suivant. Elle se trouvait \u00e0 6km de la gare d\u2019Ath et \u00e0 17km de la gare de Saint-Ghislain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le trafic voyageur a cess\u00e9 le 6 ao\u00fbt 1962, les trains seront remplac\u00e9s par des bus de substitution (ligne 100a).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A l\u2019origine, elle \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e de deux voies \u00e0 quai permettant le croisement des trains (la ligne 100 \u00e9tait \u00e0 voie unique). Par la suite, la voie 2 sera d\u00e9mont\u00e9e afin de r\u00e9duire le personnel et les frais d\u2019exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 Saint-Ghislain, un raccordement desservait la firme Talma-Criquelion repris ensuite par S.A. des b\u00e9tons de Chi\u00e8vres, tandis que c\u00f4t\u00e9 Ath une voie desservait la cour aux marchandises et le hangar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le b\u00e2timent principal \u00e9tait une construction classique de type \u00ab&nbsp;Etat belge&nbsp;\u00bb. Il \u00e9tait constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une partie centrale \u00e0 trois trav\u00e9es avec un \u00e9tage pour le logement du chef de gare, entour\u00e9 de deux ailes basses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toujours en place aujourd\u2019hui il est devenu une habitation priv\u00e9e.
